The COVID-19 pandemic – and the ensuing economic disruptions and social and political unrest has brought to centre stage issues of diversity,equity and inclusion (DEI), pressing business leaders to take action on social justice. It has quickly become a top business imperative to help create a more fair, diverse and inclusive society.
To make real progress, it is critical for businesses to hardwire DEI into all of their business processes, from ensuring that the workplace has equitable work opportunities for all types of employees to maintaining supplier diversity and launching inclusive marketing campaigns to adopting technology that encourages equitable work opportunities for all.
