This annotated questionnaire is designed to help upstream analytics and consequent inputs into downstream operations consider the interplay between the conflict, climate, and environment nexus.

The questionnaire is divided into two sections–Situational Analysis and Project Design. The first is a series of macro-level guiding questions that are useful to inform RRA development at a strategic level and key points for policy dialogue. Project Design questions prompt RRA development to consider how analyses will support the integration of these dynamics into the preparation of specific projects and enhance the conflict-sensitivity of operations.

Note, this questionnaire does not aim to be prescriptive or serve as a “checklist” but instead help RRA teams ask the “right questions” to integrate these dimensions in their analyses.
